Who sees what

Your answers are never shared with anyone, at any setting. Your church sees team averages only, in groups of five or more, plus anything you choose to share yourself.

That rule is built into where your answers are kept. No church admin can read an individual’s answers or scores. Below is the whole picture, in four parts.

01

Always private: your answers, your scores, your letter, your plan

Only you. Your 80 answers, your pillar scores, your Flourishing and Strain numbers, your profile, your letter and your 90-day plan are visible to you alone. Not to your church, not to your network.

02

Participation: that you took it, and when

Your church’s admins can see that you completed the assessment and the date. Nothing about how it went. Everyone who takes it gets a plan and a recommendation, so having one signals nothing.

03

Only if you choose: an overall score or plan progress

Nothing in this part is shared today, because there is no setting yet that lets you share it. When it arrives it will be an explicit choice you make, off by default, limited to your overall flourishing score or how far along your plan you are (a percentage, never what the plan says), and never tied to pay, promotion or job security.

04

Only what you send: a resource you asked for help with

Also not live today. When it is, asking your church to help you get set up with a specific resource shows them that resource and nothing else.

Your church’s dashboard

A church sees staff averages only, and only in groups of five or more. Small groups are not shown, so no one’s result can be worked out by subtraction. Profiles appear as three broad groups, never eleven, and a group of one or two is not shown.

If you may be in danger

Tend360 watches for answers or words that sound like you may be in danger. When it sees them, it shows you ways to reach help right away. It never tells anyone: not your church, your cohort, Pastors Collective, or your family. It cannot call for help for you.

Check-ins

Check-ins come from an AI coach built by Pastors Collective, always disclosed as one. The AI reads what you write back so it can answer; your church never sees it. If a reply sounds like you may be in danger, you get ways to reach help right away, and nobody is told. You can stop check-ins at any time.

The coach

The coach is an AI built by Pastors Collective, always disclosed as one and never a counselor. To answer you it reads your own report, scores and the answers behind them, plan and check-ins, passages from the Pastors Collective library, that day’s practice when you come to it from the daily practice, and that day’s chapters when you ask about your daily reading. It never reads your notes, your letters to God or the thoughts you catch, and it does not read your prayer list, with one exception that is yours to make: when you ask it to help with a text to someone you pray for, it sees what you have written so far, what you are praying for only if you choose, and for a prayer, that day’s passage; the name, as it is written on your list, is taken out before anything is sent, and the text is not kept. What you say to it is yours alone: not your church, and not Pastors Collective, who cannot read the conversation. If what you write describes a crisis, the coach answers with the 988 line, and nobody is told. You can delete any conversation at any time.

Your daily practice

The notes and gratitude you write at the end of the daily practice, your letters to God, the thoughts you catch, your prayer list, and your daily reading are yours alone: not your church, not a cohort, and not Pastors Collective. The coach sees them only in the two ways above: that day’s chapters when you ask about them, and what you choose to share when it helps with a text. Tend360 never sends a text for you: it goes from your own phone or email, and we keep only the day you sent it. If a note, a letter or a caught thought reads like a crisis, you see the 988 line at once, and nobody is told. You can delete a note, a letter, a caught thought or a name at any time.

Cohorts

If you join a cohort, its members see your first name, your role, and when you joined. Beyond that, they see only what you choose to share with it: your two main numbers, your profile and pillar scores, your plan, or your progress. Each is off until you turn it on, and you can turn it off at any time.

How you use Tend360

To learn whether the questions and the app work, Tend360 keeps how you move through the questions: when each one was shown, how long it stayed on screen, whether you changed your answer, which wording you saw, and which questions about you that you skipped. It keeps the kind of device you used and its settings (phone or computer, screen size, text size, time zone, app version), and what you open and finish, like your report, your plan, the daily practice, your prayer list or a cohort. It keeps that something happened, never what you wrote. Your church and your cohort never see any of it. Pastors Collective sees it only as totals across five people or more, and in a research copy if you say yes to research.

Research

Research is a separate yes, off unless you tick it on the screen before the questions or turn it on in Settings. The consent you give at the start covers taking the assessment, nothing more. With research on, Pastors Collective may study your answers, scores and how you moved through the questions together with other pastors’, to learn what helps pastors flourish. A research copy carries a random number in place of your name, never your name or email, the month you finished rather than the day, and your church’s short code only when at least five people from your church are in it. You can turn research off in Settings at any time; your answers are then left out of every research copy made after that.

Deleting your account

You can delete your account from your account page at any time. It removes your answers, scores, reports, plan, check-ins, conversations with the coach, your daily practice, daily reading, notes, gratitude, letters to God, caught thoughts and prayer list, memberships, and the record of how you used Tend360, for good. A research copy made before carries no name and can no longer be linked to you. If a church invited you, the church keeps its invitation, which holds your email address, until it removes it. If you started a cohort, deleting your account closes it for everyone in it.
